A therapeutic home is a 24-hour residential facility located in a private residence which provides professionally trained parent-substitutes who work intensively with children and adolescents who are emotionally disturbed, have a developmental disability or disabilities, or who have a substance abuse problem, or both. The parent substitute provides for intensive living, social, therapeutic and skill learning needs under the close supervision and support of RALM.
